About Us
Draw London organises a variety of art education opportunities, from drawing courses in museums to studio classes, to art workshops for special events in workplaces, natural settings and just about anywhere. The main aim of all of the offerings is to encourage participants to engage more deeply with world around us through art, and to do this in community. This can mean drawing in a nature reserve as a means of slowing down, being more present and looking very closely at nature, or learning about colour mixing and colour theory to become more aware of what is happening to us optically all the time, not to mention when we look at paintings. Our carefully-crafted art workshops in museums or heritage sites offer effective ways to investigate the past and think about how to link it to the present. Marcia Teusink coordinates and teaches most of the classes, but also collaborates with other artists, organisations and institutions.
